What is the process for assessment or review?
Do you case manage?
No we do not case manage, we offer review of care for Service Users who are entering secure hospitals from mainstream in-patient psychiatric wards and consultation, advice or holistic assessment for Probation Officers.
How are you different from the personality disorder clinical network in Leeds?
The personality disorder clinical network is a community personality disorder team that case manages and offers support for personality disorder service users across the Leeds area. We are a region wide service, which covers Yorkshire and Humber. We do not offer case management.
Do you diagnose?
No. We aim to offer a psychological understanding of service users which seeks to understand them and their behaviour in the context of how they see themselves and the world.
Can I refer for review and/or assessment?
All referrals will be considered and are reviewed by a panel of professional staff. All review referrals need to be made by forensic or local specialist case managers. Probation Officers can also refer for consultation, advice and holistic assessments.
